Beglik Tash (megalith)
The Beglik Tash megalith is located in the central part of Maslen Nose, about 4-5 km from Primorsko. Archaeologists believe that the megalith dates back to the 5th-7th centuries BC. The shapes of the rocks and the discovered images indicate that this was the sanctuary of the Egyptian god Thoth.
Perla Beach
Perla Beach is located near the residence of the same name, at the border of the Ropotamo Reserve, about 3 km north of Primorsko. It is a natural extension of the northern beach of Primorsko and is a popular spot for nudists in the central part of the strip.
Lion’s Head
The Lion's Head is located near Primorsko, on the Southern Black Sea coast. It is part of the Strandzha Nature Park. It represents a stone pyramid about 65-70 million years old. The rock formation resembles a lion's head and rises about 60-110 meters from the Ropotamo River.
Aqua Planet (water park)
Aqua Planet is a modern water park in Primorsko, offering various attractions. Among them are slides like the "Octopus," "Elephant," "Tsunami," as well as children's slides. The park has a restaurant and bars offering sushi, ice cream, and fast food. A place for fun for all ages.
Boat Tour on the Ropotamo River
A boat trip on the Ropotamo River is an attraction offered by the Ropotamo Nature Complex in Primorsko, which offers two trips. One is an hour-long and reaches the river's confluence with the Black Sea, while the other, lasting 30 minutes, goes upstream.
Maslen Nose
Maslen Nose is located in the easternmost arm of the Strandzha Mountain, extending into the sea. It has been inhabited since ancient times and is visited for the archaeological finds from the ancient city of Ranuli. Part of the area is protected as a natural landmark.
Maslen Nose Beach
Maslen Nose Beach can be reached by a high-clearance car or jeep via a dirt road or by boat. The beach is small (about 50 meters) and is surrounded by forest and rocks. There is a place offering food and drinks. Umbrellas and sunbeds are free for customers.
Ropotamo Reserve
Ropotamo Reserve was declared in 1940 and is located on the southern Black Sea coast, near Primorsko. The reserve impresses with a variety of forests, sand dunes, and rock formations. It offers hiking and water routes for exploring nature.
Arkutino Swamp
Arkutino Swamp is a lagoon-swamp in the Ropotamo Reserve, covering an area of 62.2 hectares, separated from the beach by sand dunes. It is home to sand lilies and is a habitat for rare fish and birds, including those migrating along the Via Pontica route, making it a natural treasure.
Historical Museum – Primorsko
The Historical Museum in Primorsko showcases archaeological finds from the area. Among the exhibits are parts of burial mounds, Thracian sanctuaries, dolmens, fortress walls, and ethnographic collections depicting the life of the people. The museum reveals the rich history of the region.
